Dear Friends and Neighbors, This year, PEF’s Annual Fundraising Campaign is Connect Peekskill Students to the Future. In a digital age, schools that succeed are schools that connect. The Peekskill Education Foundation (PEF) is committed to connecting our students to the future by ensuring that our schools remain equipped with the most current technology that will provide our children with opportunities and programs to support their education and enhance their future. PEF plans to support improvements in technology in the Peekskill schools that include supporting wireless technology in the high school, providing additional funds for Smart Board technology throughout the Peekskill schools, and supporting additional technology and science programs that will advance critical thinking and educational excellence for our students. To accomplish these goals, PEF needs to raise $50,000. To help meet this goal, we need your support. For the past decade, PEF has proudly supported our children’s educational futures with donations to the Peekskill schools exceeding $100,000. Through grants and donations, PEF has funded state of the art computer and science lab equipment and brought new library book and music equipment into our children’s classrooms. We have supported cultural enrichment programs and provided scholarships to help students attend summer camp and college. PEF has funded innovation, excellence, and opportunities beyond the limits of ever tightening school budgets. These days, most of us have to do more with less, and our educators depend on PEF’s help more than ever. For the cost of a tank of gas, you can make a substantial difference in every Peekskill child’s education and ensure our students are ready for the future.
